What, in your view, defines a truly striking look?
For me, it is the subtle nuances that break the pattern which make all the difference. Something that catches the eye, something that lingers in the memory. A perfectly imperfect lip, an eyebrow not sitting just so – brilliant. Entirely intentional, entirely considered. That is what makes a look individual and unforgettable. Beauty, after all, comes with flaws.
What do people most appreciate about you on set?
Thanks to my training and experience, I bring a spirit of experimentation. I try out looks, allow an idea to evolve – and yet I am equally able to strip it all back and begin anew. Through it all, I never lose sight of the goal, but remain focused and holistic in my approach.
What has been your most meaningful experience on a production?
Some moments etch themselves so deeply into one’s heart that they remain unforgettable. For me, one of those was the day I worked with Depeche Mode. From the very first second there was a distinctive energy in the room – no airs, no distance, only warmth, respect, and genuine connection. Dave, Martin, and their creative circle welcomed me with such natural kindness that I felt not like a service provider, but part of a team in which everyone mattered. That artists of such history and renown should meet others at eye level moved me profoundly. It reminded me why I love what I do – and that true greatness is always quiet, respectful, and deeply human.
